Description

The ICTS proteomics and mass spectrometry program offers advanced mass spectrometry and data analysis tools for survey protein identification and quantification in biological fluids and tissues. Consultation on experimental design, selection of analytical platforms and sample preparation are provided. The program offers an integrated platform for the discovery and confirmation of candidate protein biomarkers in biological fluids and tissues.

  • Procurement and sample preparation for proteomic analyses, in consultation with the ICTS Translational Pathology and Tissue Banking Core.
  • Access to software tools that use quantitative mass spectrometry and statistical tools for biomarker discovery.
  • Customized database builds and statistical evaluation of data from peptide search algorithms.
  • Quantitative isotope-dilution mass spectrometric measurements of targeted peptides.
  • Development of quantitative immunometric assays for candidate protein biomarkers using the Singulex platform.
  • Centralized data pipeline for access, storage, backup and retrieval of raw and processed MS data.
  • Standard and customized reports for the interpretation and publication of proteomic data sets.
